the suddenness of your departure changed my life, left me blindsided I had gotten used to the idea of me and you left now with this sadness draped along my sleeve with multi-stranded reasons tipping over out of the blue the lamp at the end of the hallway flickered, and for a brief moment you were here again and we were as good as new, shadows on the wall stopped spinning passing by quietlywithout a sound. your face flashed across what was left of my mind and I knew I would love you forever all roads lead to somewhere falling into their own world destinations complete and yet, here I am at the door of mass confusion attempting to understand these misbegotten reasons unyielding, still trying to believe...
