Under a Thai moon...
She peeled off her wrap...* And stripped mine as well! Now both in love's trap... Old story we tell! She bade me lie down, And sponged off my face, Of my startled frown... No vestige, or trace! Doubts and fears gone... Other feelings aside! Love's mantle we don... The great cleansing tide! Sliding beside me... In bed we lay. Her hands gently guide me... No words did she say! Love given and taken... So fulfilling, so deep! Great passions awaken... Our ecstatic high leap! Slowly, gently, so ebbs the tide, As surely upon us does creep... A languid , cosy, slippery glide... Into blissful recesses of sleep! The bright yellow moon... On us did shine kindly! All over too soon... A love shared so blindly! * This piece was partly prompted by Vampigar's "Oral Conversation," and the penultimate passage of Morris West's novel "The Ringmaster."
