Undercurrents

·Solace?

Undercurrents 6-07 Swept away in the flow of my shed blood fighting to keep my head above the flood It leads me under the surge the waves begin to part and merge It’s quiet and still under the surface I think I’ll stay here a while drowning in the undercurrents behind my tortured smile Waiting, waiting, I dream of my end lay my head down, close my eyes to life strain so hard till the sounds begin to blend and the light begins to darken “Come up, come up, please, before you drown! don’t let the current drag you down You’re worth so much more than this You know who can pull you from the abyss I know the pain surging beneath your skin and the current is stong tossing and pullling you apart but this isn’t where you belong I see potential in your bleeding soul It’s killling me to feel you dying you have so much more you could be” No, there’s where you’re wrong. the pain is where I belong Waiting on my end Don’t have the strength to ascend
