I cant understand myself sometimes It may take more than a life time To uncover the hidden secrets inside of my mind I am so elusive to myself As I sit here and tremble in my own hell I am being held captive again by my ridiculous thoughts In this forest of ill fated dreams it is easy to get lost But sometimes the answers come to me when I am sleep Yes sometimes, they like to creep upinside my dreams Then I awake jaded, disgruntled, distraught and so out of sorts My eyes searching the dark for a light from a door You see, what was not meant to be seen Is beyond the void of consciousness of all living beings Your eyes fall on the oblivious Your mind becomes mischievous Playing games with your sense of reason Skewing your logic into a different season Then you find yourself Trying to crack the code of conduct in reality You have lost yourself In the infinity of lust for immortality You long for what has always been sought but never found You depreciate the value of stable ground Look deep inside And you shall find The answers to the universe They all seem to vibrantly coerce Inside of ourselves In spite of ourselves The answers to our own personal hells Have never left our reach Yet once found they impair our speech The ears of ignorance who live in content with knowing The world is not a place worth growing old in, and living a blissful life For the things you love, one must learn to fight Through fear and suffering one must hold steadfast Until you find the answer you have sought for at last
