Unexplained 2
She continues to have nightmares Of increasing terror She tries to figure out the problem Like trial and error She tries to focus on the picture But all she sees is a blur She can't really see the events That are about to occur So she figured that She should see the doctor once more Because she is starting to feel a presence That she has never felt before Is she going insane? In the back of her brain All she can feel Is horror and pain So she schedules an appointment With the doctor the very next day She's on health insurance So it's only a ten dollar co-pay You know what they say An apple a day Keeps the doctor away But this fails to work Because it's unrelated to her case She walks into the doctor's office Nervous as hell Her palms are cold and clammy And her heart was beating faster than a snail The door knob turned As the key twisted in the lock When the doctor stepped in She looked up in shock The doctor was so happy To finally see her again Because getting her to explain her nightmare Was his master plan She tried to tell him But the words ceased to escape The doctor impatiently waited For her to pop like a grape Well unfortunately for her It wasn't going to be that easy She was sweating so intensely And she was starting to feel a little queasy The doctor asked her If she was okay It really concerned him When she acted this way So the doctor said 'Go home Get some rest and just pray And just come and see me again On a different day.' So she took his advice And decided to just go home Because apparently she needed More time to be alone By Glenn McCrary © 2009 Glenn McCrary (All rights reserved)
