·bugkodee

I stare at you through the fog So thick I smell the dampness. I’m sure it’s you I gaze upon But I see not the glowing of your face. I remember your star sapphire eyes They could always look straight through me. And I still taste your cherry lips A hunger I can’t overcome. Your cheeks so fresh and radiant Like raindrops on sun kissed grass. fingers like petals of lily anther A sight so succulent to me. When words flow tenderly from your lips I hear an angelic melody. It seems you floated in your walk And drifted straight to me. I lay in waiting, missing you Miss all the beauty that you bring. There was a time my world shined But brightness I do not see. I feel the hour is coming soon A time when we can be. But even on the warmest nights I’m chilled, you can’t warm me. What was once can be again When candles light your face. And all the beauty hidden inside I fear it to go to waste. It seems in recent moments The tattooed sun burns through. Upon you now is the light For all the world to see.
