Unrepentant
we fade quietly into the night, as we watch the sky burn. The Ash falls upon our skin, scorching those who denied. Writhing in pain we reach for comfort; Wishing for God to know us one last time. Forgetting the covenant, we move on with sinful life, Finding only death we can only ask why. The Death without dying, the pain without life. This is now forever, as we give in to the night.
