Love is the purest gift that was given to man yet he taints it with his misguided hands Promises of eternity only sustain themselves within their lie's through time they unravel like broken, dead vines As the days become jaded with reality and upheavel the tender soul mourns over the cruel act of fate, that seems so evil How could the winds blow away such dreams of rapture with such ease? the gentle words that were spoken, were not adhesive enough to appease The broken hearts that they ruptured with their vacant vows of lust like the blazing woodlands they burned to ashes, whose ashes sifted to dust The tyranny of it all, how could this be true? the mirky clouds are grinning as they smother the skies benevolent hue How long must one endure the haziness of the rain? must the eyes deception be the deflection of the mundane? Resistance to the truth can bring glory to those in demise ignorance to vulgar wisdoms can lessen the burden that they despise Selfrightousness can be fatal, but fatality is not to be feared the unabashed mind must conquer such angsts and let the words of discontent be smeared Nothing in this world is staid, an understatement for the lovers at will for so many there are just aquaducts, ready to pour into an eager heart and fill The slight of the tongue is powerful, and must be tamed before words can muster spite love has it's history deeply embedded in pain and deceit, but hope brings shelter in the dark When there is no light
