Her eyes fall onto him Etching themselves into every curve of his body His arms capture her like darkness takes on the night She feels his fingertips experience every last inch of her skin Fingers run through hair Hands grasp on the way life is written on a person’s breathe No words are said, Yet all secrets feel exposed Their eyes pierce into one another’s Bringing December’s shivers down her spine She could swear she knew him… Really knew him. Distance lingers in the room, threatening So she keep her eyes locked into, To keep the feeling of content that came with the thought of stopping the clock She’s taken back by what she does and doesn’t see behind his eyes It all seems eased though, when he intertwines their fingers once again, Brings sheer passion to her lips, And the taste of mint to her tongue What is and what isn’t is so unclear, Fogged by the emotional steam almost There’s no answer as to where things will be left off But for those moment that just didn’t last long enough, They’re anything but strangers

My name is Meghan, but everyone calls me Meg. I'm almost 20. I smile, I laugh, I write.
