There’s no life without defeat. There’s no life without loss. Every foundation is built upon, pain, suffering which is often forgot Bloodshed has tainted my continent. Genocide has a stolen this century’s pride. Peace is a relic of a shattered past. And it’s been revealed once more, the greed of a man knows no bounds. Boys sent out as men never to return again. Tragedy can be forgotten but never escaped Bloodstains can be removed but you’ll never feel clean again. Homes can be rebuilt, lives cannot. All this loss, was the gains really worth the costs? Guilt is not apart of war. No, it arises in the aftermath. Oh look a civilian. Take the shot! Was that an order or a train of thought? The power to kill doesn’t make you a god. Now go on, look your victims in the eyes. Hear their prayers, hear their cries. Let it be what you see every time you close your weary eyes. Every shell leaves a scar on the nation. Every death hurts them so. Every day people suffer under meters of rubble, shrapnel and stone. It is here in the concrete rabbit holes, People have made their homes. Yet shared blood continues to spill. Brethren of yesteryear killing with no end near. Children flee from these fields of sulfur. Bear witnesses to what happened here. Remember so no one else has to know this kind of fear. Oh sweet child, I beg of you escape it’s not safe here.

I am simply put a lost soul coming to terms with the sometimes harsh realties of life. Learing the complex intricacies of world we live by trying to understad both the beauty and brutishness of it all.
