Untouchable

Not once have I seen a beauty As that which you posses. Every lit shadow A shadow lighting my weakness. Not once have I felt a radiance Like yours that you let shine. More beautiful than a trillion stars Richer than any dime. Nor twice have I heard a silence That harmonically embraces me. I love you more than a million moons With you I am free. O! Ease my heart from verse And let me rest. Guide me to a touchable place Where I can escape you, my weakness. Never will I caress the hands, Hands softer than the softest touch. Nor hold you in the evening light For that moment shall never be enough. Not once had I seen heaven But in thine eyes. No beauty could compromise No earth but in thine smile No love would be worthwhile.
