Use Your Voice
Hear the children cry No one cares They are forgotten They don't exist. Treat them like dung Walk all over them They scream for help Our ears are deaf No one speaks for them Who is their voice We're to busy Or we don't care. Girls/boys being sexually abused Every one turns a blind eye Society doesn't care anymore Even if someone reports it Some cases are reported and tossed in File 13 to oblivion Never to be found We all want to forget We might want to ignore But the abuse and neglect Remains with them All their lives. What are we doing To defend the vulnerable Find the strength from within To help these poor lost souls Make a difference in their lives Don't wait until they are another Statistic.
