Vice Virtue
I would call you my brother But then our brotherhood would stand between us The closer I address you The further you become Irony in Resonance I would call you me I would know you and love you like myself Though I am a biased thing I know nothing Irony in Resonance Coming to you in silence without titles Might seem like a pretentious thing What do you expect though Since all we do is pretend Irony in Resonance The conclusion is that fear is thought This is sound for it is comprised in it It is to discover your own work already completed To see and truly know what you are looking at Irony in Resonance The music makes sense as it is played as one piece From the beginning to the end for the purpose of Self-aware beings to be brought in To a world where playing means everything Irony in Resonance Things were tested after they were made Including man which yet remains to be this way For water, soil, plant and animal all got A's Upon their final reports But the Irony doubles back upon itself and more You see man over there kneeling down all by himself Where he traces like Euclid with a finger in the sand Of things he sees but that he knows he is blind to Like how he enjoys his pseudo-freedom of choice That his humanity affords him A lovely lie to truly enjoy Is how he can not be genuinely altruistic That it is simply a good effort His holiness is deprived of him Creation being perfect can show neither vice nor virtue The eye of insight opens in the flaw Of man being able to see himself kneeling To consider himself down upon the floor But the secret is to forget about thought-interest -
