Vulnerable as Lambs...

To be vulnerable with a childlike innocence. Still, to this day there is a certain admiration held for such purity an absence of guile of wickedness... Deep down, we know this is goodness. But it is a curiosity not coveted deemed as weakness- naivety. Jaded, we esteem grit and practicality here, where lambs are devoured and damsels in distress have no hero- no rescue. Remember, however there is a Redeemer and He too, was meek and vulnerable and became as a Lamb sacrificial- The Lamb of God. Yet He rose- the epitome of strength. So, sometimes it is mildness that yields power like the Holy Spirit descending in the softness of a plain, white dove.
