Waiting Alone for Nothing at All
Time slows down until it stands still Waiting alone for nothing at all So hard to go on through this life When the rays of hope are so small The walls echo with the sound of my screams From the misery of being alone The world has turned itself away From the ugly face I have shown Like a ghost, I exist in solitude Like I've died, but my heart still beats The future and the past blend into one Doomed to live alone and incomplete Waiting alone for nothing at all As tomorrow becomes today Waiting through life to die alone And become one with the decay
