A sonnet for thought - no more ado….. *********************** Wake Up! Wake Up! (A Sonnet) Oh youths so blessed - do you your lives review? Upon the couch you sit - relaxed, demure; Content you seem - happy indeed – ‘tis true - Secure perhaps - but life for you so sure? May be! – I see you are so pleased – but hark: What does the future hold for you so young - In times of trial and tribulation stark - Your hearts unsure and minds as yet unsprung? The world so strange with politics warped and weird, And Corona threatening life what e’r befall; With climate change unchecked, profound, and feared, Are Boris and Brexit there to save you all?
