Wall
I dream when I walk beside you in the sun set You are all that is left Who saw you when even shadows melted? They look at trees and things with canopies But your straight lines held them up When the earth quakes You hold them up I walk alongside you, Wall In some ways you have always been there Something to have next to me You've meant so much to me I would be lost without you Scared and alone There where they call outside You are dead Yet you live in mind It would be absurd for me to say That I love you I guess I will love myself then In the sun set Alleys wait Mad streets and gutters It wanes to sleep in a soft glow Affectionately in infra-red I run my hand alongside you Now that all is dark Your curves remind me Through your textures arch The stark difference I find so comforting That cement does not lie Braced against with my right I palm it to the wall

What are words without understanding and what is understanding without sense?
