Warrior's Regret
And as he looked upon the sky, his mind wondering why All these warriors had to die, he just let out a deep, heavy sigh Remembering what his father said, as he glanced over the sea of dead Heavily, he lowered his head, and a prayer for their souls he read Another village for his master won, all these tears for his master's fun Dark smoke swallowing up the evening sun, regretting the words 'thy will be done' To a hero's welcome he sets off on his steed, and his army follows, drowning in greed His king will be happy, but his soul will bleed, for this is an army laced with an evil seed

Would the old me like the me I have become? I wonder if he would have been my friend Would he see me, then turn around and run? Knowing that me is how he would be in the end
