water spider
this and that primordial lizard bathes amongst some and then some even in the ancient sun the folds of darkness unveil crisp night, flicker firefly - scents of foliage pine and fern down by the creek where the old watermill still turns light cascades through its canopy in all of its dim and dark hues from the morning mist that lies upon its face to the dragonfly that blurs in a buzz over its surface this and that primordial state i've laid down to watch you in the wind of your blades of grass and leaves of trees aplenty behind closed eyes and in transparency flat stones i did gather for bouncing in between spaces though when i looked down to find below inside of the water i found nestled within its own house made out of air - so that it may go about its business the water spider fair at rest and being in no distress.
