Waves of Change

There, gently ebbing towards the shore, as it must. Proceeding to flow, and then recede. The tide fulfilling it's duties. The wind gently blowing across the surface of the water, distracting the tranquility of its path. Occasionally, a strong wind emerges. Destroying, Complicating, the degree at which the water maintains. The sea insisting to contract, confusing the stasis. Much like the confusion some face at change. The wind fluctuating the balance. Whirlpooling, My mind dizzy as the waters persistance develops hurricanes within the depths of my mind. I desire the tide to delicately roll in and cover me, Returning home to the depths of the sea. Forever continuing it's rejuvinating cycle. Bringing in a new feeling of life. Taking away articles of useless unwanted debris. The routine soothes me. The clouds and the sky challenge one another. Signaling the change of the waters flow. My spiritual connection to stability in this world. I watch with disempowering disdain. Feeling the weakness of my body crumble under the strength of my surroundings. I crawl into the darkened shelter I have created to protect myself from the tropical rain And fear And cry And hope My life will return to something of what it was. Forever changed The naturally destructed aspects of ocean blue harmony. I learn to accept the changes the storm created in my world I embrace With time The fluctuating tide Believe the wind The Rain The storm infested cloud. Knows more than I.
