We are all the same
At the end of it all, what difference does it make Whether you live in a mansion or small shack Eat a sandwich or pig out on a T-bone steak. Or drive a little VW or even a sporty black Cadillac. You work at a Fortune 500 or at a mom and pop shop, You dress in Armani, others dress in Sears suit and tie It doesn't make you any better or even put you on top? If you are being real, you know we are all destined to die. It doesn't matter how much money we all earn We are all the same and always wanting more When we are up to our neck in debt where do we turn How do we get back on track and who helps us restore? We love to keep up with the Jones's and enjoy fine things Sometimes we can't afford it and still, we choose to buy We manage to decorate ourselves with expensive bling And when we find ourselves in the hole we ask, "Why?" Life can be complicated if we don't learn to control Our insatiable desire to have just one more thing Live like the rich even though we're in a hole If we continue to live like this what will it bring?
