The rich make rules to give them power, 
The powerful enforce them to make them rich, 
But to those of us who toil and cower, 
Those rules only seem to punish. 
 
We can build a world with choice and gain, 
It gives us reason to learn and grow, 
But it should not be done in a way 
That leaves the poor with no place to go 
 
We should come together with open minds 
And write new rules to govern us well 
Without suppressing or causing divide 
So we don’t end up like those who fell, 
 
There’s only two sides, they want us to believe, 
But the world is never just black or white 
Climb out of the box they put us in 
And unravel their tapestry of lies.
