We Still Fight (a Halo 3 fan-made poem)

I randomly came up with this in my Geometry class today, and I wondered what the Elites would of written about their betrayal. We were fools merely used as tools we answered the covenant's call the prophets knew we would fall. We fought together, a proud race and we were called blasphemers to the face we were taken from our position the Jiralhanae came, they had risen. Struck down was our pride we allied with the humans, setting our differences aside now we continue our campaign till the end to the people we once called friend. We will destroy their lies this day, to the prophets, we defy!
