We won't wait.

This a peice of prose I had to quick write in 5 minutes at a writing workshop, I haven't changed it much from what I wrote just some punctuation here and there. It will probably be hard for readers here to understand the context of the content, but it is pretty general. It would be great to have some tips/suggestions on making it more Dynamic. We Wont Wait… We have been impatient since the day we were born, my generation. Unlike our parents and grandparents who were willing to wait. Biding their time like that princess locked in that tower. Waiting for the promises (Lies!) of them leaders to come to fruition. But we won’t wait, we can’t wait, we are too impatient. Maybe patience has been bred out of our genes over the past two generations. Or maybe it’s because we have been bought up not having to wait on anything. What ever it is I tell you this: We won’t wait. Its almost funny, this society of ours, so advanced in many ways; With our microwaves, instant pudding, fast cars and fast food. Yet we can’t seem to develop a fast redress to the social problems. But I can. We can, my generation, because we won’t wait. We don’t want your help, it takes too long. We don’t want your benefit, it keeps us waiting. What we want is freedom, and we will take it. Cos’ we are not waiting anymore. We want to prosper, but we don’t want to wait. We want to succeed, but we don’t want to wait. We won’t even wait for next weeks dole payment. And they wonder why we do crime. Its cos’ we’re sick of waiting. It’s funny though, crime doesn’t work, and we just end up waiting again. Waiting once again, biding our time, again, till the end of our sentence. But that’s over now, last year’s news. We are back with a vengeance. With a unique outlook formed by the way society made us. Ironic really. There’s an army of us, some of us kura kids, some of us mainstream. Moving forward and not willing to wait. We won’t be defined by anyone else but ourselves and we won’t wait. We want everything that we were deprived of through lies. And we want it now.
