Welcome
Love is a house With many rooms Romance is the fragrance Of all its perfumes and this aroma never leaves Despite what our olfactories Are conditioned, positioned to perceive One must venture now and then To the basement or kitchen Wherever desires are drawn to inhabit Transient yet more Exploring than just a visit Til we’ve learned Again to yearn For the friendly potpourri’s Return That’s how I found My way back to you And your soft, still, solid ground And how I know my way around Gazing in and out of Windows to and from this family of souls Where human laws Can scarcely control The mysterious alchemy And creativity Of Love eternal and newly made Songs that echo Off its cathedral dome There’s neither time nor place In this infinite space When once arrived Our hearts Call Home
