I don't know what you were thinking When you got in that car. You had one drink too many. This time you went too far. You were always such a good person, I don't know what went wrong. But all it takes is one bad choice For someone's future to be gone. You never saw it coming, did see the other ways. Never would have guessed It could have ended all your days. Was there pain in your last moments? Did your God take you away? Finally at peace now, In our memories you will stay. you might not meant to be killed, But it's murder just the same. You drank and ware no set belt And you're the one to blame. We will have to see the funeral we have to sit and cry Time wont make things better. our love one has now died. A boy sits in your jail cell, Thinking back on what you did You should have all made better choices? but then again you were just kid? Do you understand now, Not to drink and drive? do know now if you were sibor you would still be alive? By Sheena Rasmussen June 27 2007 (I wake up this morning to the tarrible news that my sisters best friend's older brother had died last night, an young man only a year older then me, suppost to graduate in just 2 days. It angered me. Him and his friend were drinking and driving. Freather more becasue he has died he was made the victom and he will still be apart of the grad saramony but him to buddy becasue they didnt they will not. it makes me angree becasue you see I am from a very small town andthis kinda thing happens every year if not every second year and no one listen and learn adn we all make a big deal about the so called "Victom" but yet there are those who are left with the guilt that they have lost one of the friend and will not be going to jail whom no one pays attention to. We live in a SICK world. we all make choices who should pay.)
