What is simplicity?

What is simplicity? Is it the love of a mother and her child Or the sweet taste of lemonade on a hot Summer's day Perhaps it's when your feelings are driving you wild Or the belief of a follower while they pray Is simplicity the joy of a child eating ice-cream Maybe it's the time when life was simple Or the knowledge that things are exactly what they seem Is it the satisfaction of squeezing a pimple Maybe simplicity is a family sitting together Or the sound of a bubbling brook Is it the feeling that love will last forever Or the fun in discovering a forgotten nook Is it the pride that we have as a nation We all feel it through good and bad Is it a simple explanation Or shedding tears when you are sad Maybe simplicity is a child's innocent face Will you find simplicity ina rainbow Or in natural elegance and grace Perhaps it's the unexplained way that things grow Where does it all start, where does it end This thing we call simplicity Will I find simplicity round every bend I'll just have to wait and see I'm not so sure about the last paragraph.
