What It Feels Like

09 Jun 2009

·J. Maw

What it feels like to be God. It's like, standing on a bridge, looking out on open water and all the possibility. It feels, like knowing you'll never be swept away with the current, of time. Or say, be mortal like the seasonality of falling leaves, left floating. And yet, so sad it is to stand above the waters' free defying land, just watching, watching, watching. Being God is like, standing on a bridge, and looking down, and never going where it flows but always knowing where it goes.

I care not so much what I am to others as what I am to myself. Michel de Montaigne
