What Katy did...

·Yogibear

He'd strut along, confident, brash... Hardly surprising...not short of cash!. Those in his way, he would brush aside... With outright rudeness, or remarks very snide! Though many ladies saw him as a catch In Katy's eyes he was not up to scratch! When this beauty he tried to pursue, She frostily told him to push off, now shoo! Determined that he would have his way... Flowers he'd send almost every day! Expensive gifts were always returned... His overtures so consistently spurned! I give up, he said to his friend, What can I do, I'm at my wits end! On high horse...you stagger and stumble... But terra firma, blessed the humble! His mirror showed one bumptious and crass... To wit a silly, arrogant ass! How to lifelong habits discard? Made him think deeply, so long and hard! Saw neither of them for a long while... Then heard that they would walk down the aisle! Seemed that his quest of endless futility, Had ended well, with new-found humility!
