What Makes A Man

If anyone feels like commenting, please do, but no criticism on this one. I wrote it to honor my grandfather, so I really don't give 2 shits about meter or rhyme. What makes a man great? It's not the size of his wallet, a bevy of rabid fans, a huge house on a great hill, or he had a great plan. It's not the speeches written and orated to a T, it's not the amount of toys kept, and held for the world to see. No, it's not anything like what some people might believe. Quite a normal man today, but a thousand show to bereave. A thousand everyday moaps, some family but most not, will converge on the Northwoods to a quiet sacred lot. There he will be laid to rest just like the others before, we will remember the past and wish we had many days more. One life touched so many souls, in good, safe and bad, he earned each and all's respect, proven by the friends that he had. Worked from dawn til the dusk, till well past retirement day, not because of the money, but that was just his one way. From day one to eighty- eight years, this man showed all his pride, now we will all repay him well after the the day that he died. Marvin Theilman will always be remembered as the hardest working man that anyone has ever known, but it's his heart that will keep him fondly in ours. We will miss you.
