What Will Come

What Will Come How do we all prepare to face Events that are to come? Moments when the Earth breaks up, and ash blinds out the sun? Oil Spills...Marine life kills... Slime coats the coast and shore. Man and Mother nature give us Tragic trials galore. Earth gives way, the ocean swells, Brutal waves hit shore with force. In it's wake souls left to mourn... It then retreats...has run it's course The blazing fires that robs the Earth Of life and limb, and leaves on tree, Moving forward ever forward Condemning life to burn or flee. The winds wind up their tempest. They bulldoze through the land robbing Earth of all that's there Destroying all that stands It could be you...It could be me this horror strikes with iron blow. Are we prepared to help ourselves When Earth does quake and wind does blow? IlaMae Stucki(c) 8/27/2011

I am a Registered Nurse.. I have loved writing for as far back as I can remember. My first writing was experienced by drawing as a child. In 7th grade I wrote a poem about Abraham Lincoln that won an award and was read on the radio in Salt Lake City....
