Sadness arches like the coconut branches Kissed by the sun setting far away The golden light that brightens my soul, Slowly fades when I leave The waves, wave silently to the rhythm of my tune Naked feet digging through the sand The sound of laughter resounds through the Children playing, It feels my heart beat when I leave My island, forever sets in me The smile of morning sunshine Rising slowly and maturely The aroma of wet wood, soaked too long in the sun The grass fresh and overgrown This is my island-life when I leave
