WHEN LOVE CORRUPTS

You may ask how I can write such a thing after my last two poems, but love has multiple pesonalities just like Sybil, as you shall see. WHEN LOVE CORRUPTS When Love corrupts what's pure and just, by it's very nature, it caused it's own failure. Jealous, conniving, hurt and pride, fueled by mistrust, and insidious lies! When Love implodes unto it's own lust, then one mans fancy is another's disgust. The lost sense of elation, part of the vengeance, for being a party to misguided chance. Love is not scornful, nor is it wise, nor does it contemplate its own demise, but when Love does not take, Love does not thrive, it hangsby athread in a compromise. WordPlaya, Feb 2009
