His eyes hold the promise Only she can see. His smile holds the happiness She wishes she could be. His voice holds the words That only she can hear Except he didn’t say anything at all He said, “...Hello Sweetheart...” And she hears the angels sing He said, “...I miss you...” And her heart skips a beat. He said, “...You’re the girl of my dreams...” And her eyes close, she drifts asleep. He’s the one she wants, His heart truly shows, He will never feel the same. He said, “...Hello Sweetheart... ...I miss you... ...You’re the girl of my dreams...”
