where the blackwater turns to blue
blackwater oh tell me what has become of you where is that heart so strong so true that would always get me through to where the blackwater turns to blue to where your ghosts spend all their time telling old storiesas the sun reclines each hour of every waking day i struggle to find my way out of this quiet that is all around out of the east back to the south so please tell me what has become of you where are those eyes of greeny blue those eyes that always shine so true so thatthe rivers spring is renewed turningthe blackwater intoblue each moment that i am away from you i find i don't know what i should do to ease my often worried mind should i strike out again without you to try and find what it was i thought i knew go whereyou go spend all your time singing and dancing as the church bellschime each hour im awake im blue i cannot cope with the absence of you thats when the blackwater run's blue.
