Whether Weather
*A silly poem to lift the spirits in this continuous rainy weather we've been having lately in Johannesburg.* Whether Weather Pitter-patter, drops that splatter, falling down in rhythmic beat, frizzing hair supposed to flatter, wetting fancy shoe clad feet. Fabric that should hide the blubber, hugs now like a second skin - makes one look like tubes of rubber; tell you this, no-one can win! If I have to choose the weather after all’s been said and done; rather frizz than skin like leather; rain I’ll pick, not scorching sun!
