Waiting in the wings with fools and kings Fair Maiden Whimsey sits high Crazy girl crown and provocative gown Heaves boredom betraying sigh All those aquainted with Fair Maiden fainted Knowing too well her wild ways; Her boredom requires that a drama transpires, So she conjures a dragon to slay. The Fair Maiden knows (from her previouse shows) That a dragon is nothing to fear She'll just fetchingly cry (a convinving lie) While she waits for her knight to appear. Enter: Bright Knight (to the damsels delight) Draws his sword and crosses the stage Dragon roaring and pawing, crowd "Oooohing" and "Aahhhing" Damsel in distress in her cage. While the dragon is slain her boredom will wane Watching the drama unfold, 'Till her rescue's complete and she's back on the street, Whimsey Wild, waiting and cold.
