Whispers
Whispers I sit alone, the darkness surrounds me, But I am not afraid. I am at peace, the whole world Slumbers in gentle dreams. I sense her presence, she has come My midnight enchantress. Warm fingers of air touch my skin, Gentle breezes run their fingers through my hair. The night wind is my secret lover, My mistress fair, my desire Unfolds for her as we commune In the darkness, in the quiet. The crickets quiet their chorus To hear her words The stream giggles softly As it caresses the stones that hold it. She whispers in my ear Of kings and men Of things untold for generations And fantasies so rich they leave me breathless. She ministers to my soul, she soothes my heart She stills my mind with gentle love. And speaks to me of things so grand That men can only dream about. This peace she brings Is my lifeline at times. It keeps me aware of life And how beautiful it can be. Her gossamer wings enfold me In a gentle lovers embrace As she kisses me gently goodbye With a touch of cool air on my lips. The moon watches all, Smiling in her secret knowledge Of this tryst of nature and man, While faries dance in her silver tresses. The time has come for me to go, But I'm not saddened, For I know without a doubt, I will return to my midnight queen. And her night whispers of hope And her gentle touch Go with me as a reminder That even now there is harmony in the world. The darkness around you Is nothing to fear For the night is the only part of the day When the world is at peace.

Vagabond
Not much to tell, but I am me...purely, unapologetically me. I value honesty and reality in people, and have no time for followers or pretenders. Each person is unique and valuable in their own way, and to minimize that by attempting to be someone...
