Whispers of The Moon
That night the moon hid its gloomy face behind a mass of restless cloud when a lonely star left no trace of its dwelling place, once bright and proud. * The clouds inquired of the Moon ”You once held that child so dear, why your mind and heart in such swoon? why it’s always us who sheds the tears?“ * “How is it you ignore his demise, wearing such a calm look on your face or was his death a blessing in disguise? Can he fill our emptiness with grace?” * The moon whispered soft and clear “That is the beauty of your pain; for without your precious tears there would be no rain. * Without the rain, think of all the rainbows missed; when the little boys jump in puddles the candid moment when lovers kissed feel their moments of joy so subtle. * So let the qualms be washed, my child let Earth absorb your tears let pain be your passion, wild so sorrows may worship you with fear. * I am a brave mother my children know how I feel. When millions of them die together my pain is too acute to heal. * But lord presented a precious gift with the death of my children, humans wish like a river, the wishes to the ocean drift only HE knows, what glory they unleash. * so my child, when you cry for their death, learn to look beyond the scar; life shines more with hope and faith with every single passing star."
