Why must you touch me That’s what you always say As I try to get hold of you Each and every day Don’t be mad, my love, I beg you Please give me time to explain Is it wrong to touch the Venus DeMilo As she sits museum bound To caress her sculpted curves Before the guards will come around Or to trace Mona Lisa’s lines Painted by DaVinci’s loving hand The answer is yes, it’s easy, I sure do understand But as you stand before me Visage upon the stairs up high Like a living angel Floating gracefully in the sky I remember every embrace And the way it gets me high You, are the drug I’m on I’m addicted to you, that’s why
