Why Not?
Would I chase a dream as far as Mars? - Too easy! Do you want to make a bet? Have you seen my footprints on the moon? - 'Twas as a stroll around a country park. You'll find me reaching for a burning star: - A doddle that; it's only slightly hot. Now and then I wrestle polar bears: - The poor dears need a cuddle and a pet. On Saturdays I swim the dark lagoon: - I'm never bothered by the crocs or sharks! Try to cross the world to win her heart? - Ah. - Hmm. - Tricky... - But... - Why Not? Note: it's been a while since I was here. I have to continue my theme of structural and/or acrostic poems, all very real-life. I suspect I'll end up writing a sonnet for her at some point, whether joyous or folorn, particularly as her name consists of fourteen letters. Oh deary me.
