"Why Not"

·The Daydreamer

My stupid insignificant inquires protest your plans for me They protest your know-it-all-ness They protest your ego I shall not lower myself As to your standards Trying to label life itself You say why i say why not This desolate rock with no purpose to climb Why not, its beautiful, top view will be Davine These beggars will stay, there will always be more Why not help them, a hot meal, good for sure Futile animal got itself in there Why not help it, it's only fair Your insufficient heart will get you nowhere Sooner or later, the burdens you'll bear You live so smug in your protective little cloak I say why not live, get out in the ocean and soak Your incandescent mind, blocks you from truth I still live life fruitfully each second, I'm the proof Still my actions remain delusive to you What do i have to do to show you it's true? "Why" is the ammunition to feed the futile Why not stand up and live This earth was made for joy and sanctity Why not look around at what you really see God's creation is much more than we could ever be Just one "why not" can save a million Leading to hope to save a trillion By:Logan Seth Gregory ~The Daydreamer~

I am 19, I have a deep love for poetry, when I have an emotional build-up or simply just want to write, poetry is my cure :) I have an unbreakable spirit and a load of faith to go with it, I love and adore nature, thanks all :)) & So stab that pen...
