The clocks keep ticking The world keeps spinning It seems to me that People dont realize Will the pain keep sticking? Will the torment keep winning? We're not like a rabbit in a hat People can't just materialize Will I be there for those I've turned my back on? Will I run away until no one can care? Will I be there for everyone who loves me? This is the load I bear How do we hold onto the ones we've lost? And still be there for the ones still around? There is a choice we hold Between being lost and leaving Does anyone consider the cost?
