Willows
Smoke billows Those willows Sway withe breath of the wind Singing songs of a long time been Whistles of past memories Bad things affecting good things that could've happened Long buried but never forgotten Ever once again and again they pop from the mind Like seedlings growing roughly, struggling Rooting in my mind Roots that will not die Roots that won't let go and make me cry Why Because I can't lie There is a love for you that will not die But we survive And in time We can pass by each other As friends or less And forget the mess we created Both our lives have been shaken By something neither of us ever expected But our futures intended Exactly what did we have together It was our chance to be better But we lived together in the Fairweather We loved each other and we faired well together I thought we'd be forever But we're no longer together Now trying individually To feel invigorated To feel like a whole person again While I wish you the best, and I'll never forget your face, yeah I have to say goodbye to you , sad I wish this could be the last verse said But I know words from thoughts of you will always keep coming back into thoughts of you still Because I will always love you, end
