windows of time
The sun shines through the open windows, yesterdays smoke evaporates, my thoughts of time begin and end with past. Will today start anew? As the morning heat strengthens to full blast, of all the dawning days gone by. Will I live, let life last? Passages of time like blades of grass, gently bend as mental weights press silently past. Stealthily our lives run us by our very thoughts with which we die. If I could breathe but anew, my rebirth would be of memories and thoughts containing you. 2005
