Wings Of A God

·wingless

Under the weight of your wings, you are a God and whatever I want you to be, I sit and ponder whether you truly are, As beautiful as I believe, In my head I hear Your voice, and that is all I need, To make it through, with out you here falling into me. Under the weight of your wings When we should meet again, I will pretend I know not of this love, and I will start a new beginning, I keep you near me, Not in body but in soul And one fine day, I'll take you away, We'll go where you take me, At night when I am all alone, With only your voice in my head, I'll whisper to myself a song, that only you would know, I'll fall away to the sound, Of my heart in beat with yours, horridly bitter sweet, Our love is on repeat, I'm echoing your symphony. And as I fall away, To the place that you can take me, I ponder whether you are as beautiful as i believed, and because I am so fool-hearted, Under the weight of your wings, I make believe, That you might see, that you are all I need, begining once again, the song, of an Angel's Love is on repeat.
