Winter Queen
Winter Queen In winters silent forests Wrapped in ravening breath Out of the dulcet dark Where freezing murky mists Enwreathed by passions sorrow Marry the moonlight By canine teeth wedded To clasp skies in erotic embrace The woods ensorcelled By primordial chaos Bleed wanly their bitter tears In funereal despair About the queen of despotic winter Poised to conquer the ancient reign As wolves sly jawed Lick the hymen of autumn bare She stalks in regal splendour Through the cadaverous trees Stripped bare for cold coupling In stark moonlight Lo lunars light cast Shall show in pale decay The wolves cast out From paradises slow wound Swarming around the winter queen Fawning upon her sickle hands Bay to the upraised Stygian skies Marked in dolorous somber misery Imparadised in hades dark glamour She strokes the winter of discontent With weary limbs born Of restless fugue Once gathered from edens sweet rising And the wolves shall succour Her amor now embraced Upon the winds of desolation Keening madly about souls unhallowed By the grave prey of shadows lost Into the mire of irony and pain Her raven eyes Lucifugous in mists Violating the midnight hour Remember all the oaths Once uttered for their god Now crimson and reviled The church doors Flung wide with ravaging intent Shall allow the wolves egress Into temples now wantonly defiled By dagger and curse And all unholy shall spit Upon the altars of deceit Upraised to heavens libertine offerings Mesmerised by serpentine glamour She with uncouth desires Shall watch the night ravish the dusk Pale twilight queen They prostrate themselves Before her terrible majesty As a Morella birthed From hellish abyss Raised to take back thy throne From the unbelievers Now left as sheep crudely penned Awaiting the spoils of the abattoirs grace She is the venom In the veins of the divine Proud, arrogant yet vastly supreme Wandering the foggy moors Of heartbreak and eternity Far beyond, the wolves howl And she knowingly loves them all Queen of the ravens Of mist and graveyards regained Her beauty eviscerates The dawn in bloodless gouts Enthroned upon winters Crystal darts of freezing remorse The wolves return,to lay awhile In regal splendor At the worlds end Through the swirling blizzards Only her smile still remains Dancing remorselessly Upon the cries of wolves Moon cast they howl For a love nefarious as north winds Blowing through aeons now lost To time and lunar decay
