Winter`s Arrival

·Pirattyca

Clouds are rolling over the mountains Filling the northern sky with ash Over the wide plains ravens are flying Waiting for the winter`s heavy clash Rain is falling out of the grey clouds Born on the wind it touches our heart An icy shiver the herald of winter Us and the first snow are not far apart Black as a raven appears the night sky The moon and the stars got stolen by clouds Nature slowly falls into slumber As winter draws close and the northwind howls Still heavier clouds descend from the heavens Their invisible wings cannot bear the weight The raindrops slowly turn into snowflakes Winter hangs in the air like a wraith Snow is now falling out of the grey clouds The breath of winter freezes the air Snowcovered plains and snowcovered forests... Once more the season of ice is here
