Within the Corridor

Looking for answers to questions we find. Another day passes shifting light through blinds. The seconds are ticking, and the light on the floor Keeps moving and moving 'till there is no more. It's hard enough to search through light For something that escapes and vacates our sight. But in darkness there are no answers or cures Just poison that infects what's left of the pure. Not only trapped, but also astray Within the corridor between two days. Wishing and hoping to keep it at bay. Begging and pleading to take night away.
