She sat in quiet expectation For a moment in anticipation For a word of appreciation Of kindness,love and motivation Her heart full of compassion! How skilled her hands have been. How prosperous her life as seen Journeying onwards in His plan With patient,perservering grace. At the beginning she began In the creators plan A journey undertaken with life's labour. The sweat by her brows With sweet exhaustion Watching her precious ones grow. Now a hope she has, For life's gentleness and kindness, And the Lord's grace Upon her weary heroine's face.
